smoke is very harmful

by Meg @ Whidbey Birds in Testimonials 0 comments

Please be careful with your pets. Especially your birds they cannot take smoke it irritates there air sacks.. Keep them inside as much as possible. If you have to take them out to the car get the car running first with the air running to clean the air and put a damp towel over the cage if the smoke is very severe. If you can smell smoke in the house turn on the furnace so the fan is just running.., if you cannot do that than get a fan and attach a furnace filter to the back of it… Monitor your pets all of them.. This is serious folks and we already have had alot of people call me with sad stories of how their pets could not breath or they found them dead in the cage… Please please do not take chances…
